The Story
The tape begins like an audiobook. A cheesy narrator will read that this is an UglyNiggaSociety recording.
Cheesy drumroll and Tom n Jerry style music accompany the 'Title Card' moment ("without further ado,
'Monterey''"). Old [insert accent here] woman starts at chapter 22.]
Narrator: It was a particularly beautiful morning that morning.
The sun was shining extra bright, but not like in a beautiful
way, rather in an obnoxious way. The way that hurts your eyes
the second you look at it. Like, what the fuck was the sun so
happy about?
Dadcapps, fueled by panic and vyvanse, collected his things and
shoved them into his car. He was on his way to Monterey, a
small-ish beach town south of San Jose to see his beloved
[BLEEP] on Pebble Beach.
Song: Of the Heavens - OI, Thesis
Opening Image: Save the cat with an in love Dadcapps.
{Principle Point: This is where he WANTS to be, not necessarily where he NEEDS to be.}
Thesis: "Do I belong in heaven’s gates, and if I do can you lead the way?"
He feels like this woman and moreover someone else can get him to where he wants to be.
{Principle Point: He feels he needs a savior}
Interlude: Dearly Beloved - Set-Up and Catalyst
Set-Up & Catalyst: Dadcapps' Beloved isn't showing up. Which leads him down this path of
paranoia. We see that he struggles with loneliness, expectations, and runaway thoughts.
Narrator: Alone, Dadcapps waited on the beach for his beloved
[BLEEP] to arrive. Soon, he started to believe she wasn't
coming. He then began to worry that he'd never see her again.
And because he thought it, it must be true.
Song: Yerba Matte - Debate & Break into Act Two
Debate: This inward reflection is the basis for this tape. Who am I, and when left all alone am I
capable of carrying the torch by myself. The heart of the song is that question.
{Principle Point: Can I be my own savior?}
