Credit Guide and Privacy Statement
This document provides information relating to the services Strategy Loans provides, including the use of your
private information, fees and charges that may be payable, commissions we may receive or we pay to certain third
parties and what you should do if you have a complaint or dispute in connection with our service.

WHAT IS AN AUSTRALIAN CREDIT LICENCE?
An ‘Australian Credit Licence’ gives holders the authority to engage in credit activities and give credit assistance.
Strategy Loans has a full credit licence to provide loan advice and arrange loans and leases under the National
Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009.
WHAT IS CREDIT ASSISTANCE?
We give you credit assistance when: we assist you to apply for a particular loan, we suggest you apply for a
particular loan (or suggest you apply for an increase to an existing loan), we suggest you remain in your current loan.
LOAN TYPES AND LENDERS
Strategy Loans provides advice and application on various loan types including Residential, Commercial and
Investment Loans, Personal Loans, Line of Credit and Credit Cards. We have an extensive range of over 30 Credit
Providers and 2000+ Loan Products available to offer. The following lenders from our panel are who we generally
conduct the most business with: ING Direct, BankWest, Liberty, Heritage, MyState, NAB and ANZ.
ADVICE
Strategy Loans is not licenced to provide financial, investment or taxation advice, please consult your Accountant,
Financial Advisor or Taxation Department in respect to the financial implications of the intended loan.
THE ASSESSMENT WE NEED TO DO BEFORE GIVING YOU CREDIT ASSISTANCE
Before we provide credit assistance to you, we assess whether the particular loan product, lease or change/increase
to your existing loan is a good fit for you and your needs and is not unsuitable. To do this, we need to make
reasonable inquiries into your requirements, objectives and your financial situation, as well as to verify your financial
information.
We won’t be able to give you credit assistance if our assessment shows that:
 you won’t be able to meet the proposed repayments without substantial hardship; or
 the loan or lease won’t meet your requirements or objectives.
You will receive a copy of a Preliminary Assessment Report which details your financial position and loan
requirements as well as a Credit Proposal, which is a summary of the final recommended loan options as well as
your financial information needed to make the recommendations. You may ask for this document up to 7 years after
the time we assist you.
FEES PAYABLE FOR THE PROVISION OF CREDIT ASSISTANCE
Generally, Strategy Loans service is free of charge. However in some small circumstances we may charge a fee for
providing credit services to you. If a fee is charged, we will provide a Credit Assistance Quote to you prior to
providing any credit services.
OTHER FEES AND CHARGES
You may have to pay other fees and charges (such as an loan application fees, valuation fees and other fees) to the
lender, lessor or other parties. You should review the disclosure documents and your loan contract or lease for
further details of any such fees and charges.
