**PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE LETTER**
Dear Homeowner,
Thank you for contacting St. Ambrose Housing Aid Center, Inc. We understand that this is probably a very
stressful time and hope that we can help you understand what to expect when you have missed mortgage
payments, discuss your options and answer your questions.
Please complete the enclosed intake packet and gather the required documents listed on the checklist. We
understand that you may have completed similar paperwork for your mortgage company and apologize for the
inconvenience, but in order for us to help you explore which options make the most sense for your situation we
need the information requested. We will not schedule a counseling appointment until we have the complete
intake packet and required documents.
While you complete the necessary paperwork, please continue to communicate with your mortgage company
and do not stop making payments. If you receive a legal document during this time, please contact our
office immediately. Your mortgage company will continue to send letters and notices to your house. Make
sure you keep the notices and letters and provide copies to the Counseling Coordinator. It is very important to
open your mail!
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Foreclosure Intervention Department at 410-366-8550
extension 249.
Thank you,
St. Ambrose Housing Aid Center, Inc.
