Report of VP External to AUS Council
Committees
• Interviews finished for MHAUS
• Following conversation with SecGens, other committees will start hiring next
semester after the Fall influx of new students
AUS Book Sale
• Book Sale success - Leacock lobby 10-5 on March 31
st
• Roughly half sold
• 146 books sold, $159 made
• TSSMU recommends AKUT – largest voluntary search and rescue org active
in the affected areas
• Looking into logistics of having another sale. Forgot to submit booking request
so couldn’t happen today
AOB
• EcoleProject and YellowDoor both keen to have events next year - don’t want
to rush an event and stress students out with finals/have low engagement
• SSMU LC next week 6-12:30 before adjournment
o Meeting will be scheduled to finish addressing the rest of the items on
the agenda
• Scheduling an in-person meet-up with Sophia to address aspects of Exit
