General Business of the Arts Representatives
- Attended weekly AUS excomm meetings
- Attended SSMU Legislative Council on October 6
- Motion Regarding the Adoption of a Masterplan for Addressing Racist
Surveillance and Doxxing within SSMU and McGill University
- Purpose: creating a masterplan to address racist doxxing at McGill,
including the creation of a toolkit for victims of doxxing
- Outcome: Tabled for next LC (issues with feasibility of timeline, scope
of “doxxing”, and gaps in consultations)
- Motion Regarding the Adoption of the Consultation Policy
- Purpose: creating guidelines to help students and representatives
adequately fulfil the consultation requirements for SSMU motions
- Outcome: approved!!
- Motion Regarding an Interim Provision to the Internal Regulations of
Governance Concerning Councillor Reports
- Purpose: changing SSMU LC rules so that each Faculty only needs to
present once per semester & to allocate that additional time to

- Outcome: Tabled to next LC (to fix minor issues regarding how the
motion was drafted)
- Working in collaboration with SSMU reps from other faculties to address food
affordability on campus
