Events

We hosted a successful LLC social last week at Ye Olde Orchard with the German Studies Association

and the Russian Undergraduate Students Society. On April 3rd, we will be hosting a movie night with the

Spanish and Latin American Students Association, preparation for which is underway. Our last event will

be on April 11th, when we will hold our journal launch, which is also currently being planned and for

which we have begun invitations.

Journal

Upon receiving written submissions for our journal, our VP Journals and our team have reviewed the

Over the course of the semester, our VP Communications has been promoting various events for the

Hispanic Studies and other departments, posting “¿Lo sabias?” to educate our community, and

recommending various course opportunities. She will also be promoting the movie night and the journal

launch on our social media and listserv.

Academic

Our VP Academic is working on designing and printing posters that promote our programs and

association. Throughout the semester, we have been presenting our programs to classes, and promoting

and attending departmental job talks and providing feedback.

External

Our VP External attended the AUIF meeting this week. She has also been in consistent communication
