General Updates
Hosting weekly meetings
We held our first event, a Samosa Mixer, and have created a rough plan for future
events throughout the remainder of the semester
Future events should include but are not limited to professor/student mixers, lassi
hours, trivia/jeopardy nights
President:
Communicating with South Asian Studies Advisor for academic resources
In the process of establishing an online South Asian Studies Student Journal
VP External:
Finding events and resources beyond McGill and within Montreal for SAS students
Assisting President with the establishment of an online journal
VP Internal:
Contacting SSMU and AUS for available rooms for aforementioned future events
Creating mock designs for merchandise
VP Communication:
Creating promotional material for community events and academic resources
Creating required promotional materials for the next event, as well as inviting
appropriate attendees
VP Event:
Responsible for logistical planning for future events
Creating decorative material for South Asian Studies
VP Finance:
Performing reimbursement protocol for expenses occurred during Samosa Mixer
Creating a budget for future events
