AUS VP Finance Report to Legislative Council
Audit:
● October 31st tax deadline was met
● A few remaining details are still being finalized
Budget:
● Verifying actuals against reimbursement requests
● Most departments have stayed within their budget limitations.
● A few departments have slightly exceeded their projected expense for specific items.
○ Please remind your departmental executive teams to consult the budget prior to
incurring expenses.
EBPC
● New supplier request form added to the AUS website
FMC
● First FMC meeting was held on November 1st
● Reviewed funding applications.
● Approved various applications and provided feedback for rejected applications.
SSMU Legislative Council
● Acting as a proxy SSMU Legislative Councillor
● Attended SSMU LC on November 3rd, 2022
● Advocated for permanent Councilors to join the SSMU Board of Directors
● Consulted on a motion (interim provision to allow campus media to promote their own
referendum questions)
