Sociology Students’ Association (SSA) Report March 29th, 2023
President:
● Worked on the nomination kit for the executive team 2023/2024.
● The election information has been posted on the SSA instagram and has been
receiving nomination forms from students
VP Events
● Working on an event (SSA x MPSA x SACS)
○ The president and the VP Event have a meeting with MPSA & SACS to plan
the event
○ More information including date and time will be update once finalized
VP Academic
● The Journal has been sent to the printing company
● Currently working on Journal Party with the VP Event
VP External
● Attended AUS LC meetings
● Attended Sociology Departmental meetings
Mentorship Coordinator
● Working on our new mentorship program!
VP Internal
● Sociology Merchs update!
○ Students Merchs is completed and working on payments
■ Due to limited funding, we were not able to sell them at the price we
wanted, so we were only able to apply for a 10$ reduction.
■ The final prices were 40$, 42$ and 45$
○ Forms for the Execs Merchs have been distributed
