Directions Drive south on Meadowbrook Parkway to Exit 10 (toward Long Beach) onto Loop Parkway. Take Loop Parkway
to end. At the traffic light you will be facing the Point Lookout Town Park entrance.

Eligibility Open to everyone age 18 or older who is comfortable in and fairly confident with open water swimming. Feel free
to share this information with your friends and training buddies. Important Note: You must execute and hand in
the attached Liability Release on Sunday, August 11 morning during check-in. If you are unable to print out the
Liability Release, copies will be available at check-in for you to execute.
Schedule Check-In 6:30AM • Course Briefing/Instructions 6:50AM • Swim Start 7:00AM • Swim Finish 8:00AM.
Course Course will be swum parallel to shore and clearly marked with large bright buoys for easy sighting and navigation.
Safety Swim will be supervised by in-water certified coaches, ocean lifeguards and jet skiers.
Fee We are requesting a $5 - $10 cash donation paid at check-in to help us offset the cost of safety personnel.
RSVP No advance registration or RSVP required - just show up! If inclement weather cancels this swim, notices will be
posted on the Excel website http://www.excelswimming.com/

Attire Wetsuits are permitted (as are open water swim buoys), but not required. You must wear a white or brightly colored
swim cap. We will have extra swim caps available during check-in.
