• Strict penales for violang schools bus stops, for example suspending drivers’
licenses for a period of me up to and including lost of drivers’ licenses and criminal
penales if a person is injured or killed.
• Upgrade school bus stops to ensure safe space for children to wait. This might
include sidewalks, lightening, and bus shelters.
• Results are measurable:
• If we are successful we should see a signi-cant reducon in violaons, injuries and
deaths.
• We should also see an increase in the quality of school bus stops used by parents and
children.
• Establish a phone number for people to call in to report.
• Train a minimum of 500 school bus monitors.
