The Metal Mustang Robotics team of the Blue Valley school district requests your
sponsorship. Your support is crucial to "elding the competitive team and providing the
educational opportunities on which the team was founded.
The team engages students of all ages to celebrate science and technology and to
embrace the principles of FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and
Technology). Metal Mustangs Robotics have been competing in the FIRST Robotics
Challenge (FRC) for 12 strong years. Our team, FRC2410 Metal Mustangs, consists of
high school students, 9
th
-12
th
, of the Blue Valley School District Area, and operates out of
Blue Valley Center for Advance Professional Studies (CAPS).
In addition to stimulating interest in science and technology, robotics teaches the
leadership, communication, and management skills crucial to success in the professional
environment. The team provides a safe and positive environment for students to explore
their passions, develop talents, and become well-rounded, college ready young adults.
Each year, the team competes at multiple competitions against 60+ other teams, as well
as attend 20 – 30 outreach events some of which are planned and run by team
members. The Metal Mustangs are well known in the Blue Valley School District and the
Midwest FIRST Robotics community. Sponsors of the team are represented on the team’s
website, social media, robot, t-shirts, and banners.
The 501(c)(3) and all necessary information to make a tax-deductible donation to the
team is available immediately upon email request. Checks are payable to CAPS Robotics
Booster Club, Inc. Tax receipt to follow. Many thanks for your support, it is essential for
the function of the team.

elementary and middle school FIRST teams
86% of students in FIRST programs have more interest in doing well in school and
87% have more interest in attending and doing well in college
More than 75% of the students involved in the Metal Mustangs Robotics team have
gone on to professions in the STEM "eld.
Hands on team experience and leadership leading to outstanding collegiate
acceptances and scholarships. KU, K-State, Olin College of Engineering, MIT,
