Abstract:
The capricious behavior of customers towards a product has important implications for the
strategic performance of an organization. In this paper author, develop a sustainable model to
persuade the demand of end-users. New products are responsible for employment, economic
growth, technological progress, and high standards of living. Therefore, the study of NPD
and the processes through in-which it emerges, is important. The product development
process involves two major paths in which one with the idea generation to product design
(detail engineering) and the other involves market research/ marketing analysis (Kundu,
2010/03/05). Finding says that operational and rational competencies are required in product
development and its inventories (Croom, 2001).Thus, the proficiency of concurrent
engineering to erratic demand of end-users is important to comprehend the success of the
new product.
The paper is summaries the evolution of the NPDP model and proposed the unique NPDP
model for different stages of the product life cycle. The product life cycle correlated with the
demand fora facemask in worldwide COVID’19 situations. The important characteristics are
capture in the rank matrix and the consolidated to propose the NPDP model for emergencies.
The time evolvement of the base model explained in-terms of the product life cycle behavior.
Keywords: concurrent engineering, rank metrics, product life cycle, propose model.
