Abstract
Coronavirus has wreaked havoc in several countries across the globe. In order to contain the
spread of this transmissible diseases, lockdown as preventive measures are aimed to defeat
the community transmission of coronavirus. The COVID-19 lockdown had significant
impact on psychological, physical and social behavior of individual. In this exceptional
situation it is imperative to study the issues that worried the Indians during this pandemic
lockdown. The study also seeks to find the differentiation in concerning issues amongst male
and female respondents. Primary data was collected with the help of structured questionnaire.
Factor Analysis was used for data analysis in order to identify the underlying issues that are
concerning Indians during lockdown. It was identified that Indians were worried about
falling GDP, volatile stock market, interest rate, installment payments, health of family
members, income security, availability of essential commodities and health care
