Abstract
This research study attempted to find out teachers’ satisfaction with their quality of work life
with special reference to self finance colleges affiliated with Veer Naramd south Gujarat
University (VNSGU), Surat. Data was collected from 101 respondents by framing a
structured questionnaire. Data has been analyzed by applying one sample t-test and
regression. From the analysis, it has been concluded that teachers of self finance colleges
affiliated to VNSGU in Surat city are satisfied with their quality of work life. Moreover it has
been found that Working condition, social integration in work organization, stress and job
security affect to teachers’ satisfaction. Job security has the strongest influence on teachers’
satisfaction followed stress, working condition and social integration whereas adequate and
fair compensation, opportunity to growth & security as well as relationship with employee
does not affect teachers’ satisfaction.
