Abstract: -
Usually industrial units are born in the society and develop in full bloom, so that their social
responsibility is present. At present, there is a great development revolution in the industrial
sector. The fact that most of the industrial units forget the moral values towards the society in
the dot of economic value is very detrimental to the nation in the long run. Industrial units
should be helpful in the welfare and interest of the local people.It is the social responsibility
of the industrial units to produce quality products, not to waste natural resources
unnecessarily to increase productivity, to take care of the health of the people of the society,
to abide by the norms of administration, to pay taxes on time etc. Giant industrial units can
be considered a sacred duty to help the nation’s government when the nation is facing a
natural contingency crisis. The natural elements of the nation should protect the environment
by not polluting the water, air and land. Industrial units must strive to realize the United
Nations Sustainable Development Resolution. In my view, the government should set strict
legal standards to make industrial units aware of their social responsibility.
