Today, banks play an important role in the growth of an economy by providing funds to the
various sectors for investment. With advent of LPG (Liberalization, Privatization and
Globalization) reforms in India, banking sector has undergone immense changes. Apart from
the traditional functions of accepting and lending money, today‟s banking has adopted an
innovative way to provide best services to customers through the use of internet and
technology. However, the frauds and scams have also increased in banks since last few years
and the increasing NPAs are signaling some big problem to arrive in banking sector. Hence,
it is necessary to measure the performance of banks as to find which banks are managing
