Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to establish the inevitability of effective English communication
skills for employability in the present times. Every country and every citizen wants to be
independent and self-reliant. Therefore, each individual desires to enhance his or her skills
and expertise to become self-sufficient. Effective communication skills certainly lead a
person to better employability. Adequate knowledge about various tools, techniques and
professional skills are compulsory, but they are not sufficient. If an individual wants to
sustain in this era of remote working, he/she should inevitably possess strong communication
skills, especially in English. The benefits of effective communication relate to enhanced
efforts of employees to plan and execute various strategies. Further, the scenario of
telecommuting during and post-covid era has been discussed here with its implications. The
research paper offers a perspective on effective communication skills which are inevitable for
employability in this rapidly changing world where everything is getting online. Companies
always expect that their employees should possess efficiency along with superior
