Abstract:
The normal routine of organisations across the nation were discontinued to pull the plug of
COVID-19 and restrictions were imposed for not gathering in public places to stop the spread
of virus. The operational functions were also derailed by impeding the progress of the
organisations to meet client requirements and assignments of teams were interrupted. The
transition towards virtual communication by different organisations were taken and work
from home with the help of virtual platforms was introduced. This research paper tries to
understand the perception of the employees towards virtual platforms in regards to
communication and difficulties they faced to connect. It further tries to understand the
effectiveness of working in the virtual teams with perspicacity towards their performances
and its cost effectiveness of using virtual platforms for communication.
