A Survey on Machine Translator for Sanskrit to English Language

Abstract
Machine Translation has been a widely explored area since past few years. Machine
translation is a part of the major field of Natural Language Processing or Computational
Linguistic(NLP/CL). NLP/CL deals with the understanding, developing and computing
computational theories of natural or human languages with few sub operations like syntax
and parsing, semantics and word sense disambiguation along with machine translation, etc.
This paper discusses various available techniques the translation like Rule based, Corpus
based for machine translation.

Introduction
‘Sanskrit’ language , that termed as an ancient language has come to limelight these days as
an area of research on translations of Sanskrit and other natural language too for effective
communication medium. This translations of course is seen as a part of Natural language
processing that is also called as computational linguistic. There have been lots of work in
translation of Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil etc.
To make them accessible to computer pro-cessing lots of time, effort, and money has been
put on designing an unambiguous representation of natural languages .
