1353814-0 – HRC -V2.PDF, respectively. The timeline below takes notes from both files, and
superscript marks at the start of each paragraph show which file the event comes from.

Justin Cooper, at the time an aide to Bill Clinton, purchased an Apple OS X server for the sole
purpose of hosting e-mail services for Bill Clinton’s staff. Clinton’s aides decided to maintain
physical control of the server, located in the basement of the Clinton residence in Chappaqua,
New York.

residence in Chappaqua, New York. FBI was unable to obtain records to verify installation. At
the time of installation, Justin Cooper was the only one with administrative access to the server.
However, the Clinton family and their Chappaqua staff had physical access to the server. The
server initially hosted the domains presidentclinton.com and wjcoffice.com

, which were used by
Bill Clinton’s staff.
Prior January 21, 2009

Hillary Clinton used a personal Blackberry device with service from Cingular Wireless and later
AT&T Wireless to access her e-mail accounts. HRC used the email address
Hillary Clinton decided to stop using her AT&T email address and began using a new private
domain, clintonemail.com, to host email service on the Apple Server. As a “matter of
convenience”, her clintonemail.com account was moved to an email system maintained by Bill
Clinton’s aides.

Justin Cooper was listed as the point of contact when the domain clintonemail.com was
registered to domain services company Network Solutions on January 13, 2009. HRC
transitioned to
[email protected] approximately mid-to-late January 2009. The FBI did
