Darkroom and digital lab
For the labs one must have a general idea of how to process, scan or print but we
still will provide some basic introduction to unfamiliar equipment and processes.
However for more detailed indepth understanding check out our available
workshops. For darkroom use, members must bring their own preferred chemistry
and paper. For our digital lab members must bring their own antistatic cloth or any
scanning accessories needed as well as their own paper for self-service printing.
There will also be inhouse paper for sale upon availability.
Printing and discounts
Discounts on prints are decided based on type of paper being used and is
constantly updated when a new paper is offered in our price list. Check out our
most upto date price lists.
Instagram and web store
we have a growing and lively curated Instagram feed that we include all our paying
members as well as selected people from the collective. we are also working on a
curated online print web-store which any paying member is also welcome to sell
their work on with a 15% commission. The web store is coming soon.
We will be working on some in-depth practice and conceptual workshops which
other members are also encouraged to offer. For member workshops a case to case
basis may require a commission percentage depending on the equipment or rooms
Shows and Zine
Our collective group shows and zine will be all under the decision process of the
individual curators from the collective or our guest curators. While some guest
artists maybe sometimes featured in the gallery, our main collective shows will be
featuring our collective and member artists.
Rollover hours can be acquired for past unused hours. Rollover hours expire after
two months from occurrence. Rollover hours take less priority than other members
current hours and can only be used when lab is open on a first come first serve basis
and not possible to reserve time to nor block and infringe on other members times.
FKK can also work on an hour to hour bartering system where individuals who are
able to take shifts and have the knowledge to troubleshoot other members needs
as well as provide other services can then in return get the hours worked for extra
lab hours added to their existing plan.
Regular time slots are encouraged but not manditory. Otherwise spontaneous
timeslots are available at a first come first serve basis. You are encouraged to Book
spontaneous timeslots in advance. Both booked spontaneous time slots and regular
timeslots must be cancelled 2 days in advance or otherwise will count towards used
