REOPENING OF ALL SCHOOLS
IN QUÉBEC
For students in preschool, elementary school
and Secondary I, II and III
• 100% of students returning to class
• Standard number of students per group
• Closed groups of students who stay in their respective classrooms
For students in Secondary IV and V
Option 1: If it is possible to maintain closed groups
of students who stay in their respective classrooms:
• 100% of students returning to class
• Standard number of students per group
• Staff move between rooms to teach the various
subjects
If necessary:
• Reorganization of the schedule, special projects
and choice of optional courses in order to
maintain closed groups
Option 2: If it is not possible to maintain closed
groups of students who stay in their respective
classrooms:
• Possibility of modifying schedules and reducing
time at school to allow optional courses to
continue
• Students present at school as often as possible,
but no less than 50% of the regularly scheduled
time, based on locally determined arrangements
and local conditions
• Compliance with the current physical distancing
guidelines
• Use of online learning resources, homework and
pedagogical activities outside the regular
classroom
It is possible for both options to be used in the same school.
