Class Overview:
This course will spend half of its time in French language learning with an emphasis
on conversation skills and the other half in the exploration of world cultures and languages
where there are Christian ministries currently operating.
Each French class you will get the chance to communicate in French with the
sentences and vocabulary you are learning. We will utilize online flashcards, written
practice, and watch short videos. We will also learn a little about francophone
(French-speaking) cultures in Canada and around the world.
Your Plus classes will have a different focus each time, but we will be keeping track
of our learning in Learning Journal Entries (lined paper neatly titled and dated and kept
together in your binder!) Plus classes will eventually also have self-directed language
learning. More on that later!
