How Do You Pause Time in Piso
WiFi?
To enable the pause time, feature on Piso WiFi, you must change the SUSPEND_N bit
in HW_CFG. This setting can be found in the SLEEP_TIMER, ADD bit, or SUSPEND_N
bits. This feature allows you to pause your internet connection for a specified amount of
time, or even for an extended period of time. It's great for traveling and allows you to
reconnect to the internet later.
MAC address filtering
You can disable MAC address filtering for pause time by setting up a special network in
your home or office. This type of firewall prevents unwanted devices from accessing the
internet or Wi-Fi. It is not suitable for pausing Wi-Fi for certain devices, as it can lock
out users with the old password. Once you restore the original password, Wi-Fi will
automatically resume.
MAC address filtering can be configured in the switch using the Multicast Hash Table. It
contains the lower 32 bits of a Multicast Hash Table and determines if a packet will be
accepted by a Host MAC address or not. The switch fabric address table determines
whether a packet is allowed to pass through a MAC address. Then, it is sent to the host.
