Dear Hawks:
As we're hitting the final few weeks of school, Hawks, it's easy to
feel a little cooked but let's keep the vibes positive! Don't let the
end-of-year stress give you brain rot. Instead, let's look for the good
stuff, the moments that are bussin' (yeah, we said it), and make
these last days smooth. Find your joy, celebrate your Ws (big or
small!), and remember to be a good human to the people around
you. What you put out there is a lot of what comes back.
Be sure you're getting enough sleep, stay hydrated, and don't forget
to give it your all during end-of-year assessments like SOL tests. It's
way easier to knock this stuff out now than to play catch-up later.
We've got this! If you need help or support, never hesitate to reach
out to us. We’re here for you, Hawks.

Who Will Let the Dogs Out Community Service:
By: Haley Anderson
The opportunity to volunteer as a Social Media Content Creator with "Who Will Let The Dog Out? (WWLDO)"
presents a unique chance to make a significant impact in the lives of homeless dogs and the dedicated individuals
who advocate for them. This virtual role allows volunteers to contribute to a cause that resonates deeply with animal
lovers and community advocates alike. By harnessing the power of social media, volunteers can help raise
awareness and resources, ultimately driving user engagement and fostering a supportive community for those
fighting for the welfare of homeless dogs.
One of the key responsibilities of a Social Media Content Creator is to produce high-quality and original content
tailored for various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. This involves creating engaging
text, images, videos, and infographics that not only capture the attention of the audience but also convey the
mission and values of WWLDO.
Collaborating with photographers and videographers is essential to ensure that the content is visually appealing
and shareable, which can significantly enhance its reach and impact. Staying updated with social media trends,
algorithm changes, and best practices is crucial for optimizing content performance, ensuring that the message
reaches as many people as possible.
This volunteer position is open to individuals aged 18 and above, with a flexible commitment of 2-5 hours per
week. The opportunity to work on weekdays or weekends, during both daytime and evening hours, allows
volunteers to integrate this meaningful work into their schedules seamlessly. By joining the team at WWLDO,
volunteers not only gain valuable experience in social media and content creation but also play a vital role in
advocating for the welfare of homeless dogs, making a difference in their community. For more information check out
